Uploading Photos

Step 2: Upload Your Photos
The second step of the project wizard is where you upload the photos that SchoolMorph will use to create each student's morph. You will need two photos per student: a baby or toddler photo and a current Year 12 photo.
How to Upload
- In the wizard, you will see two upload sections: Baby/Toddler Photos and Year 12/Current Photos.
- For each section, either drag and drop files into the upload area or click to browse your computer.
- You can select and upload multiple files at once to save time.
- A progress bar is shown for each file as it uploads.
- Once your initial batch is uploaded, you can add more files at any time before generating the video.
File Naming Tip
Name your photo files consistently using the student's name, such as john_smith.jpg. SchoolMorph uses filenames to automatically match baby photos to current photos in the next step. Consistent naming across both sets of photos saves you from having to pair them manually.
Accepted Formats and Limits
- Formats: JPEG, PNG, and HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos work without conversion).
- Maximum file size: 20 MB per photo.
- Minimum dimensions: 100 x 100 pixels.
Things to Know
- You can return to this step at any time before generating your video to add, remove, or replace photos.
- Large batches are fine. Upload as many photos as you need in one go. SchoolMorph handles batch uploads smoothly.
- Slow internet? Uploads resume per file, so if one file is slow it will not block the others.
