What is baby morphing?

Face morphing is a visual effect where one photo smoothly transitions into another, blending the features of both images. Whether it's a tiny prep photo morphing into a Year 6 student, a baby photo dissolving into a Year 12 portrait, or a first-year orientation snap transforming into a university graduation gown — the result is a powerful few seconds that shows how much a person has grown.

Morph videos have become one of the most beloved traditions at ceremonies across every education level — from kindergarten and primary school farewells, through secondary school valedictories, all the way to university graduation ceremonies. The video is played on a projector during the event, and each student's morph gets its own moment — often met with laughter, cheers, and tears from the audience.

Traditionally, teachers created these videos manually using desktop software like FantaMorph or After Effects, carefully placing control points on each face and rendering morphs one at a time. For a year group of 150 students, this could take 25 to 30 hours of painstaking work. SchoolMorph automates this entire process, producing a ceremony-ready video in under an hour.

What educators are saying

We used to spend two full weekends on the morph video. This year it took one afternoon. The whole hall was in tears.

Sarah M., Year 12 Coordinator

Riverside Secondary College

I'm not a tech person at all. I uploaded the folders, fixed two mismatches, and the video was done. Genuinely couldn't believe it.

James T., Head of Year 12

St Catherine's Grammar

The parents kept asking how we made it. They assumed we'd hired a professional video editor.
