Starting a New Project

Create a Project in Seconds

Starting a new morph video in SchoolMorph takes just a few clicks. The project creation wizard guides you through four simple steps, beginning with your project details.

How to Start

1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard.
2. Click the "+ New Project" button.
3. Enter a Project Name (required). This can be anything that helps you identify the project, such as "Year 12 Leavers 2026" or "Class of 2026 Morph Video". The name can be up to 100 characters long.
4. Optionally, enter your Estimated Class Size. This helps SchoolMorph prepare for the number of photos you will upload, but it is not required and can be left blank.
5. Click Continue to move on to the photo upload step.

Your Progress is Saved Automatically

You do not need to finish the entire wizard in one sitting. SchoolMorph saves your progress to your browser automatically as you work through each step. If you close the tab or navigate away, you can return and resume where you left off within 24 hours.

After 24 hours, unsaved wizard progress will expire, and you will need to start a new project from the beginning.

Things to Know

• Project names can be changed later from the project settings page, so do not worry about getting it perfect the first time.
• One project per video. Each project produces a single morph video. If you need multiple videos (for example, one per class), create a separate project for each.
• The wizard has four steps: Project Details, Photo Upload, Photo Pairing, and Settings. You can move back and forth between steps at any time before generating your video.
