Uploading Photographer Photos

Photographer Photo Upload

If your school has professionally-taken Year 12 portraits, you can upload them all at once. Students then receive a link to upload only their baby photo.

How It Works

  1. When creating a new project, choose "Upload school photos" as the collection method.
  2. On the project page, drop your photographer's folder into the upload area.
  3. SchoolMorph reads each filename to identify the student (e.g. smith_alice.jpg becomes Alice Smith).
  4. Review the parsed names and correct any that were not recognised.
  5. Add student emails and send invite links for baby photo uploads.

Filename Format

Name your photo files using the student's name, separated by underscores, hyphens, or spaces:

FormatExample
Surname first (default)smith_alice.jpg
First name firstalice_smith.jpg
With spacesSmith Alice.jpg
With hyphenssmith-alice.jpg

You can toggle between "surname first" and "first name first" before uploading.

Photos that cannot be parsed (e.g. IMG_4302.jpg) will be flagged for manual name entry.

Accepted Formats

  • Formats: JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF
  • Maximum file size: 20 MB per photo
  • Maximum photos: 200 per upload

After Upload

Once all names are reviewed, you can add student emails and send invite links. Students will receive a link to upload their baby photo, and they will see their Year 12 portrait for reference.
