Automatic Photo Deletion

Automatic Photo Deletion
SchoolMorph is designed to keep student photos for only as long as they are needed. All data is automatically cleaned up after a set period.
The 30-day rule
SchoolMorph automatically deletes all uploaded photos and generated videos 30 days after project completion. This includes:
- All baby photos
- All current photos
- All individual morph clips
- The final assembled video
This ensures student photos are not stored any longer than necessary.
Manual deletion
You do not have to wait 30 days. You can delete a project at any time from your project page. When you delete a project, all associated data is removed immediately:
- Photos are deleted from storage
- Morph clips are deleted
- The final video is deleted
- The project record is removed from the database
Account deletion
If you delete your SchoolMorph account, everything is removed instantly -- all projects, all photos, all videos, and all personal information. Nothing is retained.
Download before deletion
We strongly recommend downloading your finished video as soon as it is ready. Once the 30-day window passes, the video cannot be recovered.
To download:
- Go to your project page.
- Click Download MP4.
- Save the file to your computer, USB drive, or cloud storage.

Why automatic deletion matters
Automatic deletion protects students by ensuring their photos do not remain in cloud storage indefinitely. It also helps schools comply with data minimisation principles -- keeping personal data only for as long as it is needed.
